Pride is a beautiful celebration of not just accepting whom you are, but also of loving whom you are and whom you love.

Over the past decades, brands have shown increasing support of the LGBTQ+ community by participating in Pride events, creating limited-edition Pride campaigns and showcasing LGBTQ+ activists, icons and everyday people in mainstream advertisements. This is inherently important for so many reasons: visibility, respect, acceptance and solidarity to name a few.

In recent years, more and more of these brands have made it their mission to give back to the communities they support by doing more than splashing rainbows on best-sellers. Brands are donating to causes, charities and groups in need of financial support to provide shelter to unhoused youths, education for mental health professionals or a safe space for those in danger.

After living through a pandemic that disproportionately affected marginalized people, many of them isolated, Pride is more important than ever this year. So in order to help share and encourage support, we chose 12 brands that are going above and beyond to really make 2021 a Pride to remember.
