Amazon Prime Day is one of the biggest shopping holidays of the year! It will take place on June 21 and June 22 in 2021, and Amazon will be offering up so many great deals for Prime members—including potential new product launches.

If you’re a Prime member, all you have to do is watch for advance discount alerts on popular products, order online and get your items with free shipping. There will be major discounts on everything from electronics to home furnishings. Pro tip: Shop early holiday gifts and back-to-school necessities now, and save yourself the stress later.

Plus, this year Amazon has early deals: Members who spend $10 on select small business purchases will get $10 to spend on Prime Day.  We love supporting small businesses!

You can find out more details about the holiday with our Amazon Prime Day 2021 Guide.

Target, Walmart and More Launch Mega Sales

But if you’re not an Amazon Prime Member, no worries.

Many retailers are promoting their own major sales earlier than ever this year, and many coincidentally fall around late June to compete with Amazon. That means shoppers can find deals at all their favorite retailers on electronics, clothing, kitchen appliances, groceries, books and so much more!

These are the sales going head-to-head with Prime Day this year.

Dates: June 20–June 22

Details: Target will offer the Deal Days sale exactly during Amazon Prime Day — and even a little bit after. Last year’s Target Deal Days event ran for 48 hours, but it’s three days long in 2021. And this year, Target promises Deal Days will be even bigger, with more than double the offers compared with last year. The sale will feature savings on toys, electronics, home decor, essentials and beauty. Unlike Amazon Prime Day, Target has no membership fees to take advantage of these deals!

Bonus: Target will be offering Circle members 5% off digital gift cards from June 16 to 19 (limit of $500). Consider this your chance to prep for Deal Days.LinkShop Target StyleSolidOutline

Walmart has updated its site to say its Deals for Days sale will kick off on June 20, just before Prime Day starts. It also confirms, via its website, that deals will drop at 7 p.m. ET and added a teaser banner showcasing some deals:

  • $300 off an iHome mopping robot.
  • $50 off a Hisense Roku TV.
  • $20 off an HP Chromebook.
  • $25 off a Tobi smartwatch.

More deals are sure to come. Given the fact that Walmart used the term “Deals for Days” during its Black Friday event, we’re taking that as a signal that shoppers can expect Black Friday-level low prices on a wide range of products.
